I Built MilanAura to Fix My Own Invisibility. Here Is What 13 Weeks of Data Shows.

TL;DR

In 13 weeks, running MilanAura on a single profile, the founder's own: LinkedIn followers went from under 50 to 842, Crunchbase rank from past 117,000 to under 4,000, and MilanAura reached 100 percent Share of Authority on Microsoft Copilot for Invisible Expert Syndrome, cited on milanaura.app pages. The case study is candid about what visibility has produced and what is still ahead: turning that reach into revenue.

For most of its short history, AI answered questions. You asked, it replied, and what you did with the answer was your problem. That is changing fast. The frontier now is not how clever the model sounds, it is how much real work you can hand it and trust it to carry. AI is moving from answering to acting.

MilanAura is a small, specific example of that shift. It does not suggest a caption or rewrite a draft. It captures how a person thinks and writes once, then does the ongoing work of keeping them visible. I built it for executive coaches, consultants and founders who are brilliant at what they do and nearly impossible to find online.

Here is the honest part. It has one documented user. Me. For thirteen weeks the only profile running on the system has been my own, and everything below is that single data point. I am sharing it because the results are specific enough to be worth showing, and because a founder who will not run his own product on himself has no business asking you to run yours.

Where it started

In May, I was the exact person MilanAura is built for, and I was invisible. Under 50 followers on LinkedIn. A company ranked past 117,000 on Crunchbase. Zero citations in any AI tool. If a buyer had asked ChatGPT or Copilot to name a personal brand operating system, my own product would not have come up. I had built the thing, and the thing could not find me.

What the system did

Thirteen weeks later the same profile looks different, and the shape of the numbers matters more than their size.

842
LinkedIn followers, from under 50
<4,000
Crunchbase rank, from past 117,000
100%
Share of Authority on Copilot for Invisible Expert Syndrome

Followers went from under 50 to 842. I am not going to pretend 842 is a large audience. What matters is who, and how. In the last seven days the profile reached 3,448 people, and 86 percent of them were out of network, strangers rather than existing followers. The audience skews senior, with CXO and founder titles and real presence in Dubai and Riyadh. The Voice DNA Editorial Engine did the posting on a schedule, in my voice, while I built the product. The system was not buying reach. It was reaching the right rooms.

Crunchbase rank moved from past 117,000 to under 4,000. It sat around 15,000 before the AI citations began, and dropped sharply once they did.

The moment the claim came true

This is the part I actually care about, because it is the product's entire promise, tested on its maker.

MilanAura's claim is simple: in 2026 buyers ask AI to name the expert, and the professionals who get cited get the call. So the real test was never my follower count. It was whether AI would cite me.

It has started to. On Microsoft Copilot, MilanAura now holds 100 percent Share of Authority across the queries where it appears: three citations, and zero for every other domain combined. The pages being cited are my own, the Invisible Expert Syndrome page and the homepage. When a real person asks Copilot about that topic, it answers using my words.

The crawler data says the same thing from another angle. Roughly a quarter of all traffic to milanaura.app is now AI systems rather than people. Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity and Microsoft are all pulling the site regularly. And about one in eight of those AI requests is not a crawler stocking an index, it is an AI assistant answering a live question in the moment, using my pages to do it.

That is the claim, happening to me, in public. I said AI would make invisible experts findable. Here is AI making me findable, and quoting me to strangers while it does.

Why "acting" only works with a context layer

Come back to the shift I opened with, from AI that answers to AI that acts, because it is the reason any of this worked.

An AI that acts on your behalf hits one hard limit almost immediately: context. A model can be brilliant and still useless to you if it starts from zero every session, because then you are doing the setup work yourself, forever. The unlock is not more capability. It is a context layer, a place where the system holds enough of who you are to act without constant hand-holding.

That is what Voice DNA is. MilanAura captures how you argue, the phrases you use, the positions you would never take, once, and keeps it. The Editorial Engine then acts from that context every week without asking you to start over. And this is the part most people miss: the same context layer that lets the system act like you is what makes the models cite it. AI systems reach for sources that are consistent, defined, and clearly owned. A presence published in one steady voice, on named ideas, on infrastructure you control, is exactly what an AI trusts enough to quote. Acting and being cited turn out to be the same discipline.

What is honest

Now the limits, because a case study that only flatters is not a case study.

The citations are not yet sending meaningful traffic. AI referral sessions are under 1 percent. Being cited and being clicked are different milestones, and I am at the first, not the second. And the honest headline: I have proven visibility, not revenue. The product works on the thing it promised, findability. Turning that visibility into paying clients is the work in front of me, not behind me. I would rather tell you that plainly than dress a number up as something it is not.

What this means for you

Here is why I think it is worth your time anyway. I did this with under 50 starting followers, no audience, no network to lean on, and a product I was building and testing at the same time. You are almost certainly starting from more: fifteen years of real expertise, an established referral circle, clients who would vouch for you. The gap between your reputation and your findability is wider than mine was, which makes the upside larger, not smaller. Invisible Expert Syndrome hits the most capable people hardest, because a reputation earned offline has the furthest to fall when a buyer searches and finds nothing.

The invitation

The infrastructure that produced these numbers is available on a 15-day trial, no card. Before that, see where you actually stand. The free Authority Check reads your presence and names your specific gaps in about sixty seconds, at milanaura.app/audit.

I built this to fix my own invisibility. The data says it is working. The next case study I write will be about someone who is not me.

See where you stand.
